As an example if I am in the form to edit a measuring station the required authorizations/permissions will be indicated as follows:

Authorizations: Temporal data » metadata » write

Additional restrictions

Even if a user has the correct authorizations this does not mean that theyhave access to any data. As specified in Table 1 in some cases there are additional restrictions.

Spatial data <additional-restriction-spatial-data>`_

Some layers are not available to external users, this mean the users outside the Cantonal Administration (CA).

Temporal data

A user with administration authorization can also restrict access to data discriminating by domain. This means that a user can only have permissions on metadata, data, maintenances and alarms for certain domains.

Some temporal data, even if provided with the correct permissions, may not be accessible to users who are outside the Amministrazione Cantonale (AC) because the measurement system contains sensitive data. The measurement system responsible may allow an external user to view this data. For more information see the section Measurement system view.

Users with write permissions can edit metadata, data, and maintenance only in measurement systems for which they are responsible. One become responsible automatically when adding a new measurement system.
